Bacon Jam Ingredients (For 2 quarts) 9 slices ham or bacon (6.5 oz) 6 slices pancetta (1 lb) 8 sliced apples (3.2 oz each) 1 teaspoon cinnamon (3.5 oz) 5 tablespoons sugar (1 tsp) 3 cloves (3 spines) 2 tablespoons honey (0.5 oz) 1/2 cup dry marjoram (0.15 oz) 1/2 cup fresh orange peels (3).8 (1 oz, chopped)


Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl until all components are well combined. Stir to combine – use fingers when possible. Add additional water if needed. If desired and it looks not so great, add another half teaspoon of lemon juice. Serve in a jar, keep for up to 4 days in the refrigerator. Make sure lid is securely attached and never use plastic bags as they can make things very difficult. You can even freeze the jar and reheat on the stovetop.
