How to make Aloo Paratha or patato stuffed Bread



Recipe type: - Veg.


For stuffing:-
  • 2-3 Boiled Patatoes.
  • Zeera or Cumin Powder.
  • Red chili powder to taste.
  • 1 Onion very finely diced (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Chat masala
  • Coriander leaves finely chopped
  • Small piece of Ginger (very finely chopped or grated)
  • 1-2 green Chilies (finely chopped)
  • Salt and Garam masala as per taste

For the Dough
  • 2 cups. Wheat Flour
  • Oil/ghee
  • Adequate water

How to make Aloo Paratha:-
1. First mix water and flour and knead it to make soft dough.
2. Keep the dough aside for about half an hour.
3. Now peel and mash the boiled potatoes.
4. Add all the stuffing items to mashed potatoes and mix it properly.
5. Now make small balls out of the dough.
6Make take two balls and dust it with flour.
7. Make two medium size circle or chapatti out of two balls.
8. Place little stuffing in the centre of one chapati and cover it with the second one.
10. Now roll it slightly using dry flour.
11. Take a pan or tawa and Pour little oil or ghee into it.
12. When oil is little hot place the Paratha on the tawa or pan.
13. Then cook both the sides of the Paratha, by flipping it over and by sprinkling oil drops on both sides, so that the sides brown properly.
14. Hot Paratha is ready to eat. Serve with Chutneys, Tomato Ketchup, pickle (Indian), or yogurt.
You can also make it in oven. Just grease both sides of the Paratha with oil or ghee or butter and Put 
it in a pre-heated oven at 450-degree.When top side is done change the side (Do it when golden brown patches appear on first side). Cook till it is well done.
